PFAS Thermal Treatment Database
The PFAS Thermal Treatment Database (PFASTT) is a growing database that contains over 2,000 records of 80 sources documenting the treatability of PFAS in different media via various thermal processes. The PFASTT was created as a response to the need for a centralized database to record reliable references for researchers and general public. Sources cited in the database include peer reviewed and non-peer reviewed journals, government reports, conference reports, and other types of publications.
Sources entered focused on the following thermal treatment processes:
The database does not include low temperature processes or processes where the primary treatment mechanism is non-thermal. For example, the database does not include data on persulfate, plasma, electrochemical, or photolysis treatment processes.
